The Role
As Chalet Host, you're integral to the chalet's success. You manage housekeeping, prepare for meals, keep the kitchen clean, coordinate food service, and create a warm atmosphere where guests and staff feel genuinely welcomed. This role is about real hospitality—remembering preferences, anticipating needs, and taking pride in creating beautiful spaces.
You're often the first person guests interact with. If you have a genuine heart for hospitality and take real pride in creating welcoming environments, this is your role.
Your Responsibilities

Maintain pristine guest areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Manage laundry, change linens, and ensure the chalet is immaculate at all times. Take pride in creating beautiful, welcoming spaces.
Guest Care & Service
Welcome guests warmly and ensure their comfort throughout their stay. Remember preferences, assist with requests, and make them feel genuinely cared for. Serve meals with professionalism and genuine warmth.
Kitchen Support
Assist the culinary team with food service, clearing plates, managing the dining room, and ensuring the kitchen is organized and clean. Communicate guest preferences and dietary needs to the kitchen.
Team Communication
Bridge the gap between guests and the culinary team. Share feedback, guest preferences, and concerns. Support a positive, communicative team environment.

Create a welcoming, positive atmosphere for both guests and staff. Help organize team events, celebrations, and moments of connection that build lasting memories.

Afternoon (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
Serve lunch and manage the dining room. Complete additional housekeeping tasks, laundry, and general maintenance. Take a break in the afternoon—go skiing, rest, or spend time with guests if they're around. Prepare for dinner service.
Evening (5:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
Set the dining table beautifully and brief guests on the evening's menu. Serve dinner with warmth and professionalism. Clear plates, manage the dining room, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Do final cleaning and setup for the next day.
